Asset RecoveryPurchasing Your Surplus Modules
If you’re thinking about upgrading your current GE Speedtronic™ controls system to the latest generation, or if you’ve already completed this operation, our asset recovery team is interested to learn what surplus is or will be available.
Along with GE Speedtronic systems, Gas Turbine Controls (GTC) is also interested in other turbine control and process controls systems to acquire, including:
- GE Speedtronic
- Mark I
- Mark II
- Mark III
- Mark IV
- Mark V (TMR and Simplex)
- Mark Ve
- Mark V LM
- Mark VI
- Mark VI LM
- Mark VIe
- Mark VIe LM
- Rolls Entronic
- Woodward Netcon 5000
- Bailey INFI 90
- Bently Nevada
Are you planning an upgrade from Mark V, Mark VI or Mark VIe? GTC would like to purchase the whole panel or the modules replaced for the upgrade. For priority attention, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to assist the evaluation of your surplus system(s), please use the below checklist:
- List all installed hardware in the panel
- List all spares in stock
- List all damaged/failed hardware in stock
- Take pictures where possible either installed or uninstalled
- Offer a full description of the equipment available
- State when the parts will be available for purchase
We work with plant operators to maximize the value of their surplus GE Speedtronic controls equipment. Since 2001, we have acquired many panels with our worldwide coverage to continue to support our customers that choose to “keep the control.” Additionally, we have GE Speedtronic field service engineers who can also assist with any removal/decommissioning of controls systems.
Wherever possible, GTC acquires capital turbine spares, such as transition pieces, buckets, nozzles and combustion liners for GE Frame turbines.
Do you know of any current or future surplus controls systems? We can arrange a referral fee for every successful acquisition.
